Each February, the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club together hosts the annual Oceana Funds Swim Classic.
As one of the oldest and renowned surf life saving clubs, the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club is built on a rich and rewarding history of life saving and volunteer service to the community. Delivering essential beach safety, life saving services and community events, the North Bondi Life Saving Club is a valued community organisation.
The North Bondi Oceana Funds Swim Classic is one of the staples on Australia’s ocean swimming calendar. The event is proudly supported by Oceana Funds.
With a 1km course and a 2km course, it attracts participants from all over Australia who come out to enjoy a carnival atmosphere at North Bondi.
If you’re after an ocean swim on Australia’s most famous beach, the North Bondi Oceana Classic is not to be missed. As part of the event, there are two swims to take on: a 1km and a 2km. With the way the event is structured, it is possible to take on both swims if you’re especially motivated.
