Leo Sennett, our 16-year-old sponsoredsurfer, is proving that belief right, with a standout period of competitionresults, personal development, and growing recognition in the Australian juniorsurfing community. Leo has been getting stronger in body and mind, and it'sshowing in every wave he rides.

On the Competition Circuit

Theyear has delivered some memorable moments for Leo on the competitive circuit.He opened 2026 by making the finals of the Pa & Ma Bendall Competition inCaloundra, a strong result that set the tone for the months ahead. He thenentered the Parko Junior National competition, pushing through to Round 3before being eliminated, a creditable performance in one of the mostcompetitive junior fields in the country.

Beyondindividual events, Leo has been representing his school with real distinction.He earned selection into the Schools State Regionals Team and has since secureda place in the school senior team, comprising the top three surfers from Years10, 11 and 12 at St Andrews Anglican College, competing in the AustralianInterschool Surfing Tag Teams on the Gold Coast.

Lookingahead, Leo has the State Junior Titles on the horizon, along with twoprestigious 10,000-point events, Occy's on the Gold Coast and a competition inLennox Head. We'll be cheering him on every step of the way.

Beyond the Water

Leo'sgrowth isn't limited to competitive results. He was recently selected for aYouth Resilience Program and attended the High-Performance Centre in Cabarita,NSW a program centred on breath work, mental resilience, surfing performanceand nutrition. It's exactly the kind of holistic development that lays thefoundation for a long and successful career, and it's wonderful to see Leoembracing every dimension of his growth as an athlete.
